site.btaSofia for the Young Festival Brings Culture, Causes to Shishman Street
The Sofia for the Young Festival is bringing music, culture, civic causes, sport and creativity to Tsar Ivan Shishman Street, organizers from Save Sofia said on Saturday. Admission is free.
The programme features a large music stage with concerts and a special appearance by Preya, a DJ stage with sets and a dance atmosphere, and five themed hubs titled Your Voice in Sofia and Around the World. Young people will be able to join discussions on the city’s future, civic participation and European opportunities.
There will also be a children’s corner with activities for the youngest visitors, art, creativity and entertainment zones, workshops and interactive experiences, as well as designated food and drink areas offering a variety of options throughout the day.
The festival also brings together dozens of local traders, restaurants, cafes, bookshops, galleries and small businesses from the Shishman area, which will be an active part of the event. Visitors will be able not only to enjoy the packed programme, but also to discover neighbourhood landmarks and new favourite brands, the organizers added.
